A panel on the modern form of the slave trade, human trafficking, was held on February 2010. Speakers Dr. Andreas Schloenhardt and Jonathan Todres presented the issues as Jerri Nims Rooker led the discussion.
Over 100 attendees joined the Center in February for a panel comparing
human trafficking in the U.S. and Australia. Professor Jonathan Todres highlighted the U.S. situation, and Dr. Andreas Schloenhardt, a law professor with The University of Queensland in Brisbane, compared Australian policies.
